University of Wisconsin Badger Performance Center

SportsPLAN Studio is providing programming and design consulting on the Badger Performance Center at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. A two-story, 32,000 square foot Academic Center will showcase the university’s commitment to the academic success of its athletes. A new lobby and display gallery will create a new image for the program. On game day, the lobby gallery will be used as a hospitality space. The larger rooms in the Academic Center will be used for game day press conferences, interviews and VIP entertainment.
The McClain Center Field House will house new football locker room facilities, 25,000 SF Strength and Conditioning Center and nutrition supplementation center; and the football equipment and laundry center. The improvement plan will require relocation of several Olympic sports to new locker room facilities.
