University of Wisconsin Student Athlete Performance Center

The work was done in stages between football seasons, but the transformation is now complete, and all of our student athletes are the winners.
The work was done in stages between football seasons, but the transformation is now complete, and all of the student athletes are the winners. SportsPLAN Studio completed the programming phase in April, 2011, and we worked with Berners Schober and VOA to complete the design and bid documents.
The lower level of the McClain Center Field House has been completely reconfigured to provide locker rooms and team lounges for UW Football, Soccer and Track, a sports medicine center, a Human Performance Lab and a supplemental strength and conditioning center. The indoor practice space is getting new turf, a new roof, new lighting and a new exterior facade along Badger Way.
Phase Three improvements added a 32,000 square foot academic center, a new strength and conditioning center in Camp Randall Stadium, team meeting rooms, press conference and hospitality spaces and a dazzling three story lobby and display gallery, creating a new image for the UW Athletics.
