Chadron State College - Armstrong PE Building Renovation and Addition

Althletic Director
SportsPLAN Studio and Leo A. Daly were selected in 2006 to conduct a facility audit, identify program requirements and prepare a feasibility study for improvements. Our team was subsequently engaged to complete the project in stages of new construction and renovation of the existing building. The design solution is the result of a series of collaborative workshops with a Project Steering Committee, Campus Facilities, Athletic Department Staff and the Chadron State College Administration.
The addition includes a new arena for athletic events, commencements and concerts, Athletic Department offices, a hospitality/trophy room overlooking the football stadium, a new football team locker room, an athletic equipment management center, new team meeting rooms and two new building entrances.
Renovation of the existing structure created a new strength and conditioning center, new sports medicine facilities and locker rooms for basketball and volleyball teams, staff, officials and visiting teams.
