Colorado College Athletic and Recreation Development Plan

Colorado College Athletic and Recreation Development Plan
Colorado College is one of the very few institutions with Division I and Division III varsity athletic programs. CC is a special place, and their unique challenges have made this process exciting.
"Just a short note to say thanks for your time, effort and professional expertise. It is obvious the College has retained a truly professional team. I greatly appreciate your efforts."
- Bruce Kola,
Chair of Sports Science, Head Athletic Trainer

SportsPLAN Studio, working in association with BRS Architects, has been retained by Colorado College to complete a comprehensive analysis of its athletic and recreational programs and facilities. In the first phase of the study, SportsPLAN Studio is evaluating the organizational structure of the athletic department, its policies, its position within the College and opportunities for conference alignment. We are also measuring student interest in recreational programs and defining space requirements for all new and improved facilities.

In Phase Two, SportsPLAN Studio was retained to explore and test a series of program and conceptual design alternatives for renovated, expanded and new recreation and athletic facilities.
