University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Athletic/Recreation Building

Project Manager Capital Program Management, University of the Sciences
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia is a small university with unique academic programs, a genuine neighborhood atmosphere and a new interest in establishing a gothic architectural style for the campus. These were the easier challenges facing the design team of SportsPLAN Studio and Bower Lewis Thrower Architects. We also had to program and design this $15 million project and produce bid documents in just six months.
SportsPLAN Studio conducted campus workshops then produced a space program, eleven alternative concept plans and computer-generated floor plans. We assisted BLTA throughout the project, created specifications, a detailed manifest for equipment and furnishings, and we developed placement plans for the fitness and weight equipment.
