Oregon State University New Varsity Softball Stadium

Oregon State University New Varsity Softball Stadium
Oregon State has one of the smaller softball venues in the Pac 10, but it might have the best playing field and the most intimate spectator experience.
"Thanks, Joel. You have done a great job for us."
- Greg Goracke,
Associate AD, Oregon State University

To begin the implementation of our athletic facilities master plan, SportsPLAN Studio, Jeffrey L. Bruce and Company and BOORA designed a new varsity softball stadium to make room for the new field house. Working on a very tight schedule, we conducted planning workshops with the coaches and Athletic Department senior staff, developed the plan and grandstand design and produced construction documents in just four months.

Built on the site of the abandoned varsity track, the softball stadium is designed to share a spectator plaza and future amenities with the existing adjacent soccer stadium.
